With the final race of the V8 Supercars season upon us, so too has our Pacific Hoists Pit Stop Challenge come to an end. After making its debut at our Sydney Head Office during the launch of our newly designed car, the Pacific Hoists Pit Stop Challenge toured nationally as our distributors and end users alike competed to win the title of Pit Stop Challenge Champion. There could be only 4!
After the official launch in Sydney the Pit Stop Challenge made it’s way through Adelaide, Perth, Townsville, Ipswich and Lithgow as teams battled it out, with warehouse vs office staff vs end users a common theme throughout the competition. Even our Pacific Hoists race crew formed their own ‘Dream Team’ hoping their experience would make them a sure fire winner. Unfortunately they didn’t win but did manage to clock the fastest individual time overall at 9.8 seconds, so an honourable mention goes out to our tyre aficionado Dan & team engineer Mark. Well done!
During our national tour the Pit Stop Challenge also partnered with local children’s charities to raise awareness, funds and provide a day of fun for the children of these charities and their families. So a big thank you to Heart Kids, Early Intervention and Ronald McDonald House for taking part on each of the days and making it a memorable experience for the team and all participants.
Finally after a lot of blood, sweat and friendly competition we can announce the overall winners of our Pacific Hoists Pit Stop Challenge.
A big congratulations to one of the teams at Kennards Hire Townsville who took out the title of Pit Stop Challenge Champions with an average time of 12.39 seconds. The winning team were Casey, Lyle, Steve and Tavis, so great job guys! The winners were officially presented with their awards, prize and trophy by our Sales & Marketing Director, Graham last week.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our challenge and were brave enough to have a lot of fun and a laugh in the name of charity. That’s it for now, see you all @ the Sydney 500 this weekend!
