SERVICE TECHNICIAN – HOIST / WINCH
The position requires an experienced Service Technician with Hoist / Winch or Lifting Equipment experience for providing fast response maintenance service on a range of chain blocks, pull lifts and other material handling equipment.
Reporting to the National Technical Support Manager, you will be working with other experienced Service Technicians which will assist you in delivering valuable customer outcomes.
Specific role responsibilities include: perform varied technical duties involving the use of wide range of disciplines electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical.
Necessary Requirements:
- Trade qualification Auto Electrical / Electrical / Mechanic
- Knowledge of the serial hoist and winch standards AS 1418-2
- Knowledge of AUS lifting standard AS4991
- A team player able to work autonomously
- Demonstrate longevity in previous position
- High level of communication and customer service skills at all levels
- Previous working experience of “Pronto” ERP System advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given
- NATA or LEEA certification experience would also be an advantage

The WA & NT Sales Executive duties will consist of but not limited to:
- Promote the sale of assigned products through direct representation with distributors
- Responsible for negotiating and managing distributors
- Review performance and in doing so develop plans for improvement
- Develop an understanding of customers needs by examining their operations
- Keep abreast of market trends for company products. Advise senior management of any changes in competition, product availability or related matters. Participate in the development of marketing policy, recommending product and product line revision as well as pricing changes.
- Developing and driving company growth and strategy
The successful applicant will be expected to possess:
- MINIMUM 5 YEARS SALES EXPERIENCE WITHIN AN INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT IS ESSENTIAL
- Previous proven experience of managing a network of specialist distributors
- Strong industrial product exposure, ideally across Hoisting, Lifting Equipment, Hydraulics and Materials Handling or related product sectors
- Highly developed communication skills and the ability to present at a high level and at all times
- Sound commercial and business acumen
- Demonstrable project management skills
- Existing contacts you can leverage off
- Broad understanding of all distributors needs
- Current clean driving licence
