VDMA EXECUTIVE MEETING AT JDN
On 5 and 6 October, an executive meeting of the VDMA* Sector Materials Handling and Logistic Technology was held at J.D. Neuhaus in Witten. As chairman of his sector, Wilfried Neuhaus-Galladé welcomed the members of the board as well as many professors from German universities, who presented research projects within the framework of the event.
Dipl.-Betriebswirt (Business Economics) Wilfried Neuhaus-Galladé (right), Managing Director of J.D. Neuhaus GmbH & Co. KG, was elected chairman of the VDMA Sector Materials Handling and Logistic Technology in June 2010. Here, he is pictured in conversation with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Wagner of the Ruhr University, Bochum.
During a company tour, Director of Sales Michael Schultheis and Operations Director Armin Decker explained the implementation of the Kaizen philosophy at JDN, which left the visitors visibly impressed.
The event provided an ideal platform for an exchange of views between science and industry.
